2016 Networking Activities

MONDAY | NOVEMBER 14

OPTIONAL RAINBOW GARDENS MORNING HIKE  | 8:15-11:45 a.m.
The many geologic layers that help make the Grand Canyon so spectacular are exposed in Rainbow Gardens, which surround Lava Butte between Las Vegas and Lake Mead. The numerous and colorful ridges offer insight into the Earth’s “shady”past. Exposed rocks in the region date back more than one billion years, representing every major era of planetary development. The oldest exposed rocks are to the west in and around Frenchman Mountain, including the 1.8 billion year old Vishnu Schist, the oldest exposed rock in North America. Join us for a hike through this beautiful wilderness area (approximately 3 miles in length). Meet in Paris lobby 8:00 a.m. Shuttles leave at 8:15 a.m. and arrive back by 11:45 a.m. (Separate ticket required and additional $75 fee applies. Sign up online when you register for EventTech. No walk-ups will be accepted.)

There’s no better place to have a networking dinner in Vegas than at Carmine’s, the legendary family-style restaurant across the street at Caesars. Come break bread with other attendees on Tuesday night from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. Bring your group if you have one or come on by with the rest of the EventTech “solos” and have some fun chatting up new friends, discussing the day’s events and raising a glass (or two) to the industry. Dinner includes beer and wine plus full family style dinner and dessert. (Separate ticket required and additional $85 fee applies. Sign up online when you register for EventTech.
